You girls are sweet. As for the shoes- I only wear them once or twice a week, on average. I'm generally more of a flats-sporting girl. However, on the first day of school & in the first week of each new trimester (with new students), I try to dress more professionally. It sets a tone & sets me apart from my students. When I don't go out of my way to dress up, I end up looking like a student and often have to point myself out as the teacher when someone comes to my classroom looking for me. I guess it's kind of the same as having to dress your bald baby girl in pink so that people don't automatically assume she's a boy.
